Probably a basic question but — does Qomplement handle scanned paper documents? We get a mix of digitally created PDFs and scanned paper docs (purchase orders, delivery receipts, etc). The scanned ones are basically just images embedded in PDFs.
Do I need to OCR them first or does Qomplement handle that?
Qomplement handles OCR natively — no need to pre-process. Just upload the scanned PDF and it’ll extract the text. Quality depends on scan quality obviously, but for standard 300dpi scans it works great.
