Quick before/after for anyone in insurance considering Qomplement:

Before:

  • Claims examiners manually reviewing each claim form
  • Typing data into our claims management system
  • Average processing time: 12 minutes per claim
  • Error rate: ~4%

After Qomplement:

  • Auto-extract claim data from submitted forms
  • Examiner reviews pre-filled data and approves
  • Average processing time: 3 minutes per claim (mostly review)
  • Error rate: ~0.5%

We process about 800 claims/week. That’s going from 160 hours of manual entry per week to about 40 hours of review. We reassigned two of our data entry people to higher-value work.

Not everything is perfect — some handwritten claim forms still need manual entry. But for typed/digital submissions (which are 85% of what we get), it’s fantastic.

The error rate drop from 4% to 0.5% is the most impressive part. In healthcare we see similar improvements — human data entry errors are honestly a bigger problem than extraction accuracy.
