Just started using Qomplement — first impressions

Hey everyone! My team started using Qomplement about two weeks ago for processing financial statements (10-Ks, quarterly reports) and I wanted to share some initial thoughts.

The document parser accuracy has honestly surprised me. We threw some pretty messy scanned PDFs at it and it handled most of them really well. ~95% accuracy on structured table extraction without custom templates.

A few things I noticed:

  • Speed: Processing a 40-page 10-K takes about 15 seconds
  • Excel filling: Killer feature for us. Mapping extracted data into our models saves hours.
  • Templates: Still figuring these out but defaults are good.

Anyone else in fintech using this?

Welcome aboard! We’ve been using it for about 3 months in consulting. The template system is worth the investment — accuracy jumps to 99% on specific fields once you set up good templates.

The API is worth checking out for volume work. We built a pipeline that auto-uploads from a shared drive and dumps results to our data warehouse.
